Turnkey Internet announced the launch of a new cloud server reseller platform on Friday. The platform is targeted at channel partners, IT service companies and cloud based service providers.
Turnkey is offering a fully automated, white-labeled product line of enterprise-class cloud-hosted servers with over 100 pre-loaded Microsoft and Linux Server template choices. The service is hosted out of Turnkey’s SSAE 16 Type 2 data center is New York, which is ENERGY STAR certified.
“TurnKey has always derived a significant portion of its business from channel partners,” Adam Wills, CEO of TurnKey Interne saidt. “We have been focused on expanding offerings that resonate within the channel partner community, and are pleased to release our new cloud reseller platform allowing complete white-label access to provision and manage cloud-based servers on our existing enterprise based TurnKey Cloud platform.”
Resellers can manage clients through an automated web interface. They can allocate resources such as virtual servers, ip addresses, bandwidth, memory and disk space, and select from multiple operating system templates.
Turnkey intends for their channel partners and reseller clients to set server plans, prices, and bundle other services to tailor cloud-based offerings without the overhead of hosting the clouds themselves.
Turnkey’s efforts reflect an ongoing industry emphasis on partnerships and the unique offerings they enable, as discussed recently by Matt Russell, VP of hosting at Namecheap.com.
Last year Turnkey updated its virtual desktop to incorporate mobile devices and added SEO tools to some packages to broaden the appeal of their cloud services.
