Cloud hosting provider TurnKey Internet announced on Tuesday it has re-released its cloud-hosted virtual desktop, the TurnKey Desk 2.0, with all new features.
The release comes a few months after Turnkey Internet added Attracta’s SEO tools to its cPanel-based web hosting packages.
The TurnKey Desk 2.0 is now available on any smartphone, tablet, thin client, desktop PC or Mac, has been enhanced to make it easier to access, and can be preloaded with more applications such as Microsoft Office and the Adobe Creative Suite.
“By incorporating smartphones and tablets, the way a client can use the TurnKey Desk is almost limitless,” said TurnKey Internet CEO Adam. “Both start-up entrepreneurs and experienced CEO’s need a way to be able to easily work from their home, office, or while they are traveling. Using the TurnKey Desk 2.0, companies can ensure that their employees are able to share files and documents remotely with each other from any location in the world.
The desktop solution enables employees to access, share and store files securely on the cloud to help make sharing documents easier and more efficient.
In addition, the new platform offers the option of companies using multiple images which contain the software applications specific for each department.
This ensures that each software application can be preset with permission levels for each user.
