July 21, 2004 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Akmin Technologies (akmin.com), developer of the SiteGalore (sitegalore.com) Web site building and publishing tool for service providers, said on Tuesday that Tucows is selling Website Builder, the reseller edition of the SiteGalore Web site building solution, through its reseller channel of over 6,000 Web hosting companies and Internet service providers.

“Using a single installation of SiteGalore’s multi-level private branded reseller edition, large organizations like Tucows can empower thousands of service providers to fully private brand the application including the brand name, email communications, complete user interface and most importantly serve it from the service provider’s own domain name, with absolutely no installation required at the service provider’s end. Service providers also retain full control over the FTP location where the end user websites as published,” says K. Sathya, vice president of marketing for SiteGalore.

The two companies worked together to develop functionality that would meet the needs of Tucows’ reseller channel. Resellers will be able to choose from four different packages and offer Website Builder with other Tucows services.

Akmin recently announced that SiteGalore was in accordance with the ISO 9001:2000 norms for international software quality. Tucows is a Canadian-based reseller of Internet services to services providers and Web hosts.
