Tucows’ email defense service is based on the technology of MX Logic’s (mxlogic.com) Email Defense Gateway, Service Provider Edition. Tucows selected MX Logic in February, based on evaluation and testing that showed MX Logic to be highly accurate with spam detection and filtering.

Tucows said several of its resellers started to sell the service before the official launch and have reported positive results. Resellers can combine email defense with domain name registrations, managed DNS and email. The service is available immediately.
