Trustwave Appoints New Channel Manager for Brazil

(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Information security and compliance solutions provider Trustwave (www.trustwave.com) announced on Thursday it has named Celso Hummel the company’s channel manager for Trustwave Brazil.

He has more than 15 years of experience in the information security and computer forensics industries, specifically in Brazil.

Hummel spent several years at TechBiz Forense Digital, most recently as government and channel manager for Brazil where he developed the company’s sales process.

Previously, he worked at SonicWALL serving as a sales engineer for all of South America, where his understanding of products enabled him to define sales strategy and train both staff and customers. 

At Trustwave Brazil, Hummel will be responsible for channel development, developing partnerships with key Brazilian security and technology integrators and ISPs to further penetrate the local market with Trustwave’s information security solutions, including managed security services, data loss prevention, network access control and encryption.

Hummel will also oversee the identifying, training, and supporting channel partners, from both a technical and sales perspective.

His expertise in computer forensics will help him identify and fulfill channel partners advanced security needs with such services as penetration testing, incident response and forensics, application security and security research.
