February 6, 2003 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Global Internet network Terra Lycos announced on Wednesday that it has launched the Tripod Blog Builder (blog.tripod.lycos.com) tool, designed to allow Tripod’s millions of members to easily publish ideas and photos online.

Tripod says the company has enhanced its position in personal publishing technology by combining the new Blog Builder feature with its home page building tools, giving members more ways to communicate online.

Included in Tripod’s subscription packages, which range in price from $4.95 to $19.95 per month, the Tripod Blog Builder allows customers to create, edit and publish online without requiring them to learn software commands. Content is automatically organized by time, day and month. And an archive is automatically created, where visitors can add their comments to any entry.
