February 13, 2008 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Data protection provider Tilana Systems (tilana.com) announced on Wednesday it is now offering its online data protection and sync technology as a SaaS platform for hosting companies and ISPs.
Last month, Tilana and Web hosting provider Hostway (hostway.com) signed a non-exclusive agreement. The partnership enables Hostway to roll out under its other brands newer co-branded offerings similar to GateVault (gate.com/online-backup) from Hosway, as well as enable Tilana to launch offerings built on Hostway infrastructure.
“GateVault and the larger partnership with Hostway are both very important to us,” says Joe Austin, Tilana CEO. “Tilana Systems is excited about channel building and we look forward to having more partners of the Hostway caliber.”
The company says it is now positioned to build more distribution agreements around other data center deployments, and to further expand into business and hosting markets. Tilana is currently implementing its channel distribution strategy for its new content management system, which is currently represented by Tilana Reserve and the co-branded GateVault.
Tilana announced last month it signed a new partnership with UK domain registrar and Web hosting provider Hostway.
