UltraDNS?s network, says Thruport, is built form two redundant networks and nine domain name service nodes located at points around the world, each of them continuously updated with the most current DNS directories. UltraDNS guarantees customers a 100 percent connectivity commitment.

“Most users, and even IT professionals, are not aware of the importance and impact of DNS to ensure connectivity,” says Thruport CTO David Moser. “In fact, DNS lookup – the fundamental process by which an Internet address is converted into a physical IP address – constitutes the second most frequent reason for user connection failure. We spent several months looking for DNS solutions that would create real value for our customers, and UltraDNS is the best.”
