The Planet Launches Blog

May 15, 2007 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Dedicated hosting provider The Planet (theplanet.com) announced on Tuesday it has launched its new corporate blog (theplanetdotcom.wordpress.com).

The blog offers customers, prospects, partners and potential new employees a glimpse into the company and its operating culture by providing an outlet for sharing company news, industry trends, and executive and employee insight.

Coupling business with fun, The Planet’s blog offers a venue for reporting on the company’s continued progress since the merger, and personal opinions and views of executives and employees.

“Blogs serve as an important tool for sharing information and insight in a fairly informal setting,” says Steve Kahan, The Planet’s vice president of marketing. “The Planet’s entry into the blogosphere provides another venue for key constituents to learn more about The Planet from multiple company voices. The Planet’s blog will be a must-visit site for the community we serve.”

The Planet announced last week it upgraded its network infrastructure with Foundry’s new 8-slot high-end IPv4/IPv6/MPLS multi-service routers.
