February 25, 2008 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Dedicated hosting provider The Planet (theplanet.com) announced on Monday it has extended its most popular promotion after receiving a positive customer response.
The ‘Double Down’ promotion enables customers to receive twice the RAM, hard-drive space or bandwidth at no additional cost on a select range of servers from the Planet’s broad portfolio. The company says it will also waive the $25 setup fee.
“Our most recent Double Down promotion received such great feedback that weve decided to extend it through the end of the month,” says Urvish Vashi, director of product management with The Planet. “This promotion is particularly popular because customers can have it their way by choosing to double the amount of RAM, disk space or bandwidth. Overall, they increase server performance at no additional cost.”
The company announced last week it is offering two additional limited-time promotions.
