The dedicated servers run on Intel processors and are packaged with drives, memory, software, and bandwidth for $99, $149, and $199 per month, depending on configuration. Colocation packages are priced between $50 and $200 per month. All the hosting packages available under the new division come complete with managed services and access to a customer support portal. Managed services are available free of charge at the company’s “bronze” level, with higher levels priced accordingly.

All offerings are configurable on the Sever Matrix Web site and orders can be placed online.

?Server Matrix was created to fill a void in the entry-level server market,? said Lance Crosby, chief operating officer of The Planet. ?We researched the market and concluded there is a lack of quality product, at a fair price-point, which includes true managed services, ? Crosby said. ?With Server Matrix, small businesses, including SOHO users, now have a viable option when it comes to selecting a data center, bandwidth, and product, all backed up with outstanding levels of service.?

Server Matrix customers will be housed in one of The Planet?s two data centers, complete with Tier 1 provider bandwidth and live, 24-hour technical support.
