Along with Zeus’s traffic management solutions, clients can expect service level monitoring, SSL encryption and decryption and bandwidth management.

The Planet says the Zeus Extensible Traffic Manager load balancing solution’s features can be extended directly to customers of through The Planet’s ORBIT portal.

“With user-level access to load balancing functions through ORBIT, customers can load balance any server in our datacenter and manage settings in real-time,” says Sam Fleitman, VP of managed services at The Planet. “This level of control is truly unprecedented at this price point.”

Package prices begin at $49 per month for load balancing of three services and two nodes. Additional nodes and services can be added for a nominal fee.
