February 10, 2003 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — TGS-NOPEC, a provider of geoscience data and related products to the oil and gas industry, and its wholly-owned subsidiary A2D Technologies (A2D.com) announced on Friday that they have implemented a colocation hosting facility that strengthens their current data center with improved access, security, redundancy and centralization of data and applications.

The company has contracted Sprint E|Solutions to host well log assets and critical Internet applications at its Denver, Colorado facility, which employs some of the highest technological and structural standards in the industry.

According to the companies, the facility will initially host A2D’s LOG-LINE Plus!, which allows customers to acquire well log data through and e-commerce portal and provides a tool for the management of their proprietary well log data. Moving the application to the colocation facility allows A2D to provide the industry with efficient, secure and redundant access to critical data.
