(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Indian IT solutions provider Tez Networks (www.teznetworks.com) has entered into an alliance with mid-market application acceleration and load balancing solutions provider Coyote Point Systems (www.coyotepoint.com) to distribute its “Equalizer” family of load balancers and application acceleration solutions in India.
According to the Friday announcement, Tez’s first priority is to develop relationships with Indian value-added resellers, solution providers, systems integrators and channel partners. Tez will also embark upon an extensive training program for channel partners, helping them gain the skill set necessary to sell Coyote’s technology products and support them post-sale.
“With the vast deployment of web-based applications and a growing need to keep these applications continuously up, we see an opportunity to take the leadership in the application acceleration and load balancing space,” Tez Networks managing director Delip Singh said in a statement. “Companies cannot afford breakdowns of critical applications or websites. They need a delivery platform which eliminates single points of failure and provides high availability and disaster recovery.”
According to Tez, the Coyote Point product line offers a comprehensive range of load balancing and traffic management solutions, which complements its networking solutions.

The distribution partnership extends the existing business relationship between Tez and Coyote Point. Tez Solutions, Tez Networks’ services arm has worked with Coyote Point for several years to add functionality to Coyote Point’s products and to provide quality assurance services.
Coyote Point chief executive officer and chief technology officer Bill Kish said the established relationship with Tez made it a natural choice for a distribution partner in India. “Their expertise in Coyote Point’s products provides a significant advantage over the competition, when it comes to technical expertise and support services,” Kish said in a statement. “They have domain knowledge and their reputation and strategic relationships with India’s top resellers will help us to expand our presence in Indian market.
