Terremark to Host Peering Forum

February 16, 2005 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Internet exchange and network service provider Terremark Worldwide Inc. (terremark.com), the London Internet Network Exchange and Lucent Technologies announced on Tuesday that they will host more than 125 global peering experts from around the globe at the annual TerreBit Peering Forum. The conference will be held in Miami and the Bahamas from March 4 to March 7.

The forum will bring together peering coordinators from South America, North America, Europe and Asia in a neutral environment to discuss interconnection of their autonomous networks. Participants will also attend presentations from industry experts on peering rollouts, policies, trends and general technical topics within the peering coordinator community.

Participants will include peering coordinators from AOL, BT, TeliaSonera, Ebay, Microsoft and Terremark’s customers such as Savvis, Google, Cogent, France Telecom, Yahoo!, MCI, T-Systems, Telecom Italia, Teleglobe, Brazil Telecom and Packet Clearing House.
