Terremark operates Internet exchanges and provides global best-in-class network services. The agreement is a cost-effective solution for smaller ISPs that cannot afford their own dedicated switches on the LINX exchange and the technical staff to maintain them.

LINX’s membership of an estimated 150 ISPs and content delivery service providers, includes almost all the major UK ISPs, as well as many from the US, mainland Europe and the Far East, making more than 50 percent of the world’s Internet routes directly accessible from the LINX exchange.

Small ISPs now have a faster and more direct connectivity through the LINX from Anywhere program at any one of Terremark’s Internet exchanges, resulting in fewer hops between networks en-route from sender to receiver.
