Terremark Adds Customers to NAP

May 28, 2004 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Terremark Worldwide (terremark.com), a builder and operator of Tier 1 Network Access Points and network services, announced on Thursday that it has signed new contracts with Akamai, ICE, MetroRed Mexico and Telemar to expand their relationship with the NAP of the Americas.

The company said increased peering traffic continues to attract content providers to the NAP of the Americas.

The facility currently has over 155 customers deployed. Comsat Argentina, Diveo, Emergia, Global Crossing, Hostopia and Navega.com have also signed on for additional services.
