March 2, 2006 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Colocation provider Telehouse (telehouse.com) announced on Thursday it plans to host an interactive workshop on enterprise network security and managing new dark fiber routes.

The free seminar will take place March 31, 2006 from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Telehouse Center in Staten Island, New York. Telehouse representatives will present with industry experts from OCG, ADVA Optical, IBM, and CIBER.

Discussion will touch on key security and fiber route topics, including why new fiber paths are faster, more cost-effective and safer; how to protect an enterprise network spend prior to the deal; what is true diversity in a super-telco era and are telecoms quietly playing catch-up in New York; whether optical equipment providers play a continuity role; successful secrets to network-data storage and transfer; mirroring applications; whether or not system integrators have the best overview to manage converging enterprise networks; methods to take back and implement right away with results; and how to make CFOs happy.

Telehouse says the interactive workshop session will include many insider secrets that attendees can apply to their own businesses. Industry experts will provide tested methods to analyze, set up, and implement processes, systems and services that will help attendees to achieve success and save costs.
