August 25, 2004 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Colocation provider Telehouse America (telehouse.com) announced on Wednesday that it has named Michael F. Vallone as deputy director, head of marketing. Vallone will be responsible for marketing and business development, corporate communications, public relations and media relations.

"Michael has broad technical expertise and significant practice in managing client and media relationships," says Masahiro Furuya, recently appointed president and chief executive officer of Telehouse America. "Additionally, having worked in various media and financial services settings for many years, he has a clear understanding of our clients' needs. This combination of skills makes Michael the ideal choice to spearhead our marketing efforts."

Prior to joining Telehouse, Villone was managing director of Blue Eyes Marketing. He has also served as the vice president of global branding, marketing and communications at ABN-AMRO Bank, and was vice president of global equities strategic marketing for Merrill Lynch. Vallone has also held various positions at Bankers Trust, Deutsche Bank, RCA Records, Record World Publishing and RKO Broadcasting.
