This announcement marks the first in a series of products Technauts will deliver based on the Solaris environment and Sun SPARC platforms.

Technauts says the new product offering touts a comprehensive set of

Web-based applications for small and medium sized enterprises and

workgroups, as well as the ISPs that serve them, looking for an affordable

solution to their networking needs.

Technauts’ multi-function server solution, eServer.net, provides a full
r
suite of Internet applications and services such as email, file/print
r
services, Web and multi-domain hosting. A browser-based interface manages
r
network resources from the LAN, or a remote location. And, an optional
r
failover/redundancy feature ensures 99.99% availability through fault
r
resilience at the application level.

The Netra appliance is a Solaris SPARC-based server with one processor. Its
r
ultra-thin, rack-optimized design makes it desirable for businesses that
r
face issues space limitations and scalability. Additionally, the server
r
provides an architecturally sound platform for managing multiple
r
applications and tasks.

server, and the eServer clustering family of products, based on the Linux

operating system and available on standard Intel PC hardware.
