Verio Attracts Resellers with Free Month of VPS Hosting: Companies looking to boost revenues are finding Verio's Free VPS promotion the right fit for getting started as Hosting Reseller.

March 15, 2005 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Web hosting and IT infrastructure services provider TechSpace (techspace.com) announced on Tuesday that it had acquired the Web hosting, dedicated server and colocation customers of E-commerce Gateway. California-based TechSpace picks up 21,000 business-class user accounts and over 500 Web sites. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The company says its new hosting customers will have access to its Microsoft-based ASP services, managed services and Microsoft Certified Partner offerings, and benefit from its Internet connectivity and internally-developed system management and monitoring systems.

"Our new customers will receive superior value and support from TechSpace," says James Watson, CEO of TechSpace. "We are dedicated to providing turnkey hosting services and simple to use IT outsourcing solutions to our customers."

TechSpace says recent expansion of its data center offerings has prompted it to enter into acquisition discussions with other Internet service providers and Web hosts.
