March 2, 2006 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Data center technology provider SYSTIMAX (systimax.com) announced on Tuesday that it has launched its iPatch real-time infrastructure management solution for data centers.
SYSTIMAX says the new solution provides data center managers with remote control over physical infrastructure, higher security levels, improved manageability, reduced running costs and increased productivity.
“The iPatch System with System Manager 5.0 software offers data center managers the tools they need to control and manage physical infrastructure connections. From the equipment cabinets to the manager’s desk, it is tailored to deliver the information needed to provide faster fault correction along with improved security and network management,” said Dominic Morris, sales director Middle East, North Africa & Pakistan, SYTIMAX Solutions.
The company says that in addition to managing connectivity, iPatch makes it easier to deploy networked devices such as servers by automatically adding them to racks and cabinets and recording their locations in its database.
