March 28, 2007 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Virtualization and automation software provider SWsoft (swsoft.com) and shopping cart software provider MIVA Small Business Solutions (smallbusiness.miva.com) announced on Wednesday they have introduced new software that enables service providers to offer their customers an easy way to develop, maintain and grow an online business.
Through an agreement between the two companies, SWsoft will resell MIVA Merchant e-commerce software and will deliver integrated support for MIVA in the SWsoft Plesk control panel.
SWsoft is offering two versions of MIVA Merchant software with Plesk. MIVA Merchant 5 is designed for SMBs while MIVA Merchant Fast Track is intended for smaller and start-up businesses. By adding MIVA support to Plesk, Web hosts will benefit from patented technology in Plesk that will allow them to automate a large number of tasks and lower the cost of offering MIVA software to their customers.
