SWsoft Launches Customer Program
August 16, 2006 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting and virtualization software provider SWsoft (swsoft.com) announced on Thursday that it has launched its Community Technology Preview program beginning with its Plesk for Linux and Unix control panel software.
As part of its recently launched Developer Network, SWsoft’s CTP program allows developers, customers and partners to preview and test new features of products then provide feedback on their experience directly to SWsoft engineering teams.
“SWsoft is committed to developing high quality products and solutions with direct input from our growing number of customers and partners,” says Kurt Daniel, VP of marketing and alliances for SWsoft. “CTP will ensure SWsoft builds features into our products that are market focused, reliable and ready for broad deployment.”
Customers can participate in CTP through several ways, including downloading software, taking surveys, exchanging ideas in forums, and providing feedback about their experiences with the software. SWsoft will use the feedback - including information about bugs, software errors and new feature suggestions - to improve the software before making it generally available.
