SWsoft Expands Presence in Europe

May 10, 2007 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting software provider SWsoft (swsoft.com) announced on Thursday that it has opened its first office in Paris, France to tap into increasing demand for its Virtuozzo virtualization software.

SWsoft’s Paris office will be launched with three employees and be responsible for customers such as AMEN, one of the largest Web hosting providers in France.

SWsoft says it is also hiring additional staff in Belgium, The Netherlands, Luxembourg and Eastern Europe. The new employees will add local market experience and speak the native languages while operating from SWsoft’s European headquarters in Darmstadt, Germany, says the company.

“France is a key market for our success in Europe. From now on, we will be able to serve our French customers with comprehensive local consulting and support,” says Soeren von Varchmin, managing director of European and Asian operations, SWsoft. “I am convinced that the proximity to customers will be well received in the French market. Furthermore, our new staff from Benelux and Eastern Europe will strengthen our presence and credibility in those markets.”

On Monday, SWsoft launched an online forum and expanded resources to enhance language support and strengthen its global community of local translators for SWsoft products around the world.
