October 19, 2005 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — SWsoft (swsoft.com) announced on Wednesday that it had acquired Beijing-based Web hosting software developer ValueOf Software Technology (valueof.com) for an undisclosed amount. The newly acquired company will form the headquarters of SWsoft China.
Soeren von Varchmin, managing director of European and Asian Operations at SWsoft, said SWsoft China would continue to market, develop and support Prim@hosting, 3Biz and other ValueOf Software solutions. SWsoft automation and virtualization solutions will be translated and locally supported.
“With this acquisition and the creation of SWsoft China, we are furthering our commitment to accelerate the growth of the Greater China region including Taiwan, Hong Kong and beyond,” says von Varchmin.
