Superb Appoints VP of Technology

May 2, 2007 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting provider Superb Internet (superbhosting.net) announced on Wednesday that it has appointed Tom Samplonius as vice president of technology.

Samplonius will be responsible for leading all technology development and deployment within the company, as well as, directing the company’s technical staff. Samplonius will also act as the principal architect for the development and improvement of new hosting-related products and services, says Superb.

“In keeping with our mandate to focus on enriching the hosting experience of our customers, we are constantly seeking to expand our expertise within the industry by adding new people who bring unique skill sets to the company,” says Curtis R. Curtis, senior VP of sales and marketing at Superb. “Tom believes that technology needs to be shaped into tangible, user-friendly solutions for the customer, especially in the hosting space. He fervently maintains that value innovation focused on the customer supersedes technology innovation for the sake of technology.”

Prior to joining Superb Internet, Samplonius was VP of technology at Uniserve Communications where he designed and maintained systems for broad and narrow band Internet access.
