According to the Wednesday announcement at the Tier 1 Hosting Transformation Summit in Las Vegas, Mezeo’s Cloud Storage Platform will deliver Sten-Tel’s “Total Compliance Solution,” which allows attorneys to easily and securely store and share files, while providing continuous access to the legal workplace.
“Mezeo’s security and scalability enables law firms to quickly and cost-effectively ensure the safety of client records using the Sten-Tel Total Compliance Solution,” Sten-Tel chief executive officer Ray Catuogno said in a statement. “We offer a just-in-time data center, which allows our customers to instantly add or reduce storage capacity based on their needs. Mezeo’s 24/7 cloud storage provides Sten-Tel users password-protected, Internet and smartphone access to files. It also features native client access for iPhone, BlackBerry and Windows Mobile devices, as well as an integrated Windows desktop interface that supports a shared drive, allowing secure transfer, sharing and collaboration.
The Mezeo Cloud Storage Platform offers SSL encryption as content is transmitted, as well as 256-bit AES encryption for files stored on the server, ensuring the secure storage of data and personal information to meet the stringent legal regulations required by law firms. For instance, Massachusetts law firms will be required to fully comply with the security breach notification statute by 2010.
