August 12, 2004 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting provider Spry (spry.com), a specialist in virtual private servers, announced on Wednesday that it has opened a new data center facility, located in the Westin building in Seattle, Washington.

“Our new data center will be a big plus for customers and it gives us more capacity to meet demand,” says Cameron Jones, president of Spry.

The Westin building was selected because it is the regional telecommunications hub and home to the Seattle Internet exchange, Cameron said.

Earlier this week, the company announced the expansion of its dedicated hosting services. The company recently launched its VPS hosting services.

Jones said the company is preparing to launch new products in the fall.
