March 3, 2003 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Communications company Sprint (Sprint.com) announced on Monday that it has signed a three-year, multimillion-dollar agreement with mobile computing products developer Targus Inc., through which Sprint will provide security services and managed hosting for critical business systems.

According to Sprint, the services will cover enterprise resource planning, Internet, intranet, extranet reports and shipping applications. Targus expects the reliable management and support to help the company realize a range of benefits, including lower costs for internal and external operations.
