October 18, 2001 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Sprint Corp. (www.sprint.com) announced that it is expanding its services to the Peach State by opening another Sprint E|Solutions Internet Center in Atlanta, Ga.

The 100,000-square-foot Internet center will be the seventh Sprint

E|Solutions has opened across the country. Pre-selling for the Atlanta
r
center has begun and the state-of-the-art facility is available for
r
customer occupancy today. A grand opening event is scheduled for Nov. 16,
r
2001.

The Atlanta Internet center will offer Sprint’s customers application and
r
Web-hosting support, collocation, monitoring and reporting performance,
r
and IT professional services. Sprint E|Solutions also provides managed
r
services for customers, including Business Continuity Planning, security,
r
Internet VPN, and Mobile Computing Solutions.

Sprint has previously stated its plans to expand its Internet data center

capacity through year-end 2002. The Atlanta facility joins other

operational Sprint E|Solutions Internet Centers in New York City, Boston,

Dallas, Kansas City, Reston, Va., and Sacramento, Calif. Additional
r
centers planned for opening in 2001 include Denver, Los Angeles and San
r
Jose, Calif.

Currently, Sprint manages more than 1.5 million square feet of hosting
r
space.
