Springboard Signs Two New Hosting Clients
Verio Attracts Resellers with Free Month of VPS Hosting: Companies looking to boost revenues are finding Verio's Free VPS promotion the right fit for getting started as Hosting Reseller.
January 7, 2003 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- North Carolina-based data center and Web hosting company Springboard Managed Hosting (SpringboardHosting.com) announced on Monday that it has signed agreements with two California companies, air transportation services company TAG Aviation and investment and mutual fund company Marketocracy.
Springboard says it will provide TAG Aviation with fully managed servers, enterprise backup, managed firewall and intrusion detection and comprehensive monitoring of the company's e-commerce infrastructure.
For Marketocracy.com, which currently serves nearly 50,000 members managing nearly 60,000 virtual mutual fund portfolios, Springboard will provide colocation services and comprehensive monitoring.
"With these two blue chip additions, along with the Fortune City Network out of New York, we are building an exciting coast to coast client roster," said Rich Lee, CEO of Springboard. "As we play on a national scale, we are competing with the major telecoms and national hosting companies. We are finding that Springboard's debt free position gives us a distinct competitive advantage over these well known, publicly held and heavily financed players with multiple, largely unprofitable data centers scattered across the country and abroad."
