(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Florida-based managed services, data center, and IT solutions provider Spiderhost (www.spiderhost.com) is donating custom web design and hosting to the United Arts of Central Florida (www.unitedarts.cc), saving it $35,000 over the next two years.
According to Spiderhost’s announcement this week, UACF, which aims to enhance the quality and variety of cultural experiences, will also be given $1,000 a year for the next three years as part of Spiderhost’s membership in UACF’s Business Leadership Council. The UACF’s Business Leadership Council’s goal is to strengthen the capacity of the arts through continuous support of the cultural community, drawing in new business, retaining and attracting executive talent, and developing young artists.
Known for its strong local connections, Spiderhost provides hosting to the Orlandgo Magic and the Florida Gators.
Last year, Spiderhost brought an Atlanta data center online to complement its hosting during the hurricane season, also an important consideration for any Florida web host’s reputation.
