Email security provider SpamExperts announced on Monday that web host and domain name registrar Hostnet has implemented its inbound and outbound email filtering service on its network.

This announcement comes a week after SpamExperts launched its new website in five languages: English, Dutch, German, Portuguese and Spanish.

Based in the Netherlands, Hostnet manages more than 500,000 domain names and hosts more than 100,000 subscriptions according to the press release.

Hostnet is using the local cloud product of SpamExperts. The local cloud is deployed on Hostnet’s virtual hardware, as opposed to the hosted cloud that runs in the SpamExperts network. SpamExperts manages and monitors the platform and provides updates to the email security software, according to the press release.

“Prior to SpamExperts we were using an in-house developed solution, which cost too much time to maintain and could not deliver the high level of email filtering quality our customers expect,” Merijn de Brabander, business manager of Hostnet said in a statement. “We are really happy with the services of SpamExperts. As they now fully handle all our filtering needs and our engineers can now focus on maintaining our infrastructure, rather than trying to keep up with the latest trends in spam.”

SpamExperts has partnered with many web hosting providers as it offers integration and automation plug-ins for many popular web hosting control panels including cPanel, Plesk, and Parallels Automation.

With SpamExperts, web hosts can stop spam and viruses, prevent being blacklisted, and help email backup and compliance services through email archiving. According to its website, it has 99.98 percent filtering accuracy with close to zero false positives.

“We already have a lot of customers in the Netherlands, but that the number one web host from Amsterdam has signed with us now is something we are extremely happy about. The agreement with Hostnet presents a great opportunity and reference for SpamExperts,” Sam Renkema CEO of SpamExperts said in a statement. “As spam and viruses continue to threaten the stability of organizations like Hostnet, we have been eager to provide a secure and reliable solution to them. In this way the broad customer base of Hostnet has access to a trusted solution in the fight against spam and viruses and can in this way regain control of their email.”
