Sonasoft Names Vice President of Sales

(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Data backup and recovery solutions provider Sonasoft (www.sonasoft.com) announced on Wednesday that Bruce Serpa has been named vice president of sales.

In this role, Serpa will oversee all sales activities and sales strategies as Sonasoft positions itself to target key markets around the globe. Serpa will report to the president and CEO, Andy Khanna.

Prior to joining Sonasoft, Serpa served as director of North American sales and strategic alliances for i365, a Seagate Technology company.

At i365, Serpa was responsible for defining and driving sales methodologies in the OEM, enterprise and channel partner communities.

During his tenure at Seagate, he established strategic relationships with many high-profile companies such as IBM, Microsoft, and Siemens. Serpa has also held positions Calluna Technology, Siemens, and Tandberg Data.

“Bruce comes along with an enviable track record of sales and channel development leadership success in both start-up and Fortune 1000 organizations,” says Khanna. “Under his leadership and guidance, we will continue our expansion plans into new territories and position Sonasoft as leaders in providing automated e-mail archiving, backup and recovery solutions for the SMB market.
