August 22, 2005 — Web and application hosting provider SolidSpace (solidspace.com) announced on Monday that it had launched a hosting service for the WebObjects application server development environment.

The company says using the WebObjects environment enables customers to reduce costs and focus on their businesses. The platform enables the addition of extra servers, connects to other servers and databases, features database replication and integrates with almost any backend database.

SolidSpace is offering WebObjects hosting in both shared and dedicated hosting environments.

“One of the biggest reasons why customers choose SolidSpace is because we strive to offer the latest, most cutting-edge tools that are traditionally only available to large-scale customers,” says Jim Capps, president of SolidSpace. “The availability of WebObjects through SolidSpace is just another example of our commitment to delivering the most coveted solutions, supported by a team of hosting experts.”
