(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting provider SoftLayer Technologies (www.softlayer.com) announced on Tuesday it has opened its new corporate headquarters in a three-building property at 4849 Alpha Road in North Dallas.
The three new data center pods spanning the ground floor of the complex will be completed and brought on line in the coming weeks.
The new corporate headquarters includes more than 120,000 square feet, offices and workspace for more than 300 employees.
The onsite data center space will feature advanced networking options, while the global network operations center will monitor all SoftLayer facilities.

The facility was redeveloped for and leased to SoftLayer by data center operator Digital Realty Trust (www.digitalrealtytrust.com).
SoftLayer continues operating data centers located at the Infomart in Dallas as well as in Seattle, Washington and the Washington DC area.
The company also has network points of presence in seven additional US cities, which it added in May.
