August 30, 2007 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Malaysia-based Web hosting provider Smart Team Networks (smartteam.net) announced on Thursday that it has deployed Web hosting software developer SWsoft’s (swsoft.com) Plesk Expand 2.2 software to centrally manage its hosting servers on one integrated platform.
“The decision to migrate our servers from our existing software to SWsoft Plesk Expand was a smart business move for us,” says T.Y. Png, managing director at Smart Team Networks. “Plesk Expand provides a unified platform that integrates with our existing technology to centrally manage our Plesk servers and advanced functionality, such as the Web-based auto-install feature, to significantly improve shared hosting management.”
According to Netcraft, the Web hosting market in Malaysia is one of the fastest growing in the Asia Pacific region, expanding rapidly since May.
On Tuesday, Fat Jack Hosting deployed SWsoft’s Virtuozzo virtualization technology.
