The new facility was built from the ground up, says Siteserver, to the exact specifications needed for mission-critical applications. Features include dry-pipe standby fire systems, redundant air conditioning systems, onsite diesel backup power, and 3-phase APC silicon UPS units to ensure a constant power source, regardless of the condition of utilities.

Siteserver’s new data center boasts connectivity from SBC, Sprint, AT&T, and other Tier 1 providers via OC12 fiber connections, routed through multiple secure entry and exit points.

The company says it will begin providing tours of the site in the fourth quarter of 2004.
