The partnership will enable SiteGround customers to activate the ‘yellow padlock’ and secure their websites, transactions, webmail and other online services using SSL security technology.
According to the press release, SiteGround says it selected AlphaSSL to “maximize its competitiveness, increase its potential revenue and benefit from the expert technical support offered by AlphaSSL.com staff.” AlphaSSL certificates are trusted by most browsers and mobile devices and include a free trust enhancing clickable site seal to be displayed on the user’s website.
“AlphaSSL certificates are the ideal SSL solution for SiteGround to offer as part of their hosting services,” says Silvia Nikolova, marketing specialist at SiteGround. “We can now offer customers highly trusted SSL with the confidence that they are being provided by a knowledgeable SSL provider, and our customers will benefit from our one stop shop service without needing to get SSL from elsewhere.”
The AlphaSSL reseller partner program offers many benefits, including pre-pay or pay as you go accounts, discounts on its standard retail pricing, the ability to manage all customer certificate functions, full auditing and reporting, including invoice management, a multi-tier reseller system, extra revenue for every certificate sold, and a free AlphaSSL certificate for the user’s own site.
The certificates can secure single domains or domains with multiple subdomains through the wildcard option.
The company provide 128 bit to 256 bit strong encryption levels, designed for companies who must ensure all browsers and mobile devices are supported.
As an AlphaSSL partner, SiteGround is now able to offer new and existing customers SSL certificates starting from $82.
