SiteGround Offers Free Templates
July 20, 2006 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting provider SiteGround (siteground.com) announced on Wednesday it has launched new free Mambo and Joomla templates for IT business Web sites and has introduced a template customization service.
The new customization service is available to both visitors and customers of SiteGround. Mambo and Joomla users who choose any of the SiteGround templates for their Web sites may also request branding of the template header. SiteGround customers will receive an additional 50 percent discount on the templates.
Almost identical, Mambo and Joomla templates are among the most powerful and commonly used content management systems available, enabling users to create simpler or more complex Web sites. While both applications, based on PHP and MySQL, offer a variety of features, Joomla is relatively new and does not have the full list of Mambo components yet.
SiteGround visitors and customers have a wide choice of templates made by a professional Mambo/Joomla designer. The company just released three new templates suitable for IT business sites. SiteGround periodically adds new themes in the most popular categories and currently offers 24 templates compatible with Mambo and Joomla, with more to come soon.
