(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting provider SiteGround (www.siteground.com) announced on Friday it has launched its new WordPress theme named Universe.
The company says it is actively seeking to reach a new and widepread audience of WordPress users who use these free templates.
In the past SiteGround has featured other themes in its free WordPress themes gallery.
The new Universe theme offers even more advanced functionality, accomodating the default WordPress 3.0 installation, as well as the majority of popular WordPress plugins.
The theme also benefits from the latest innovations introduced by CSS3 and jQuery to provide the user with design effects, including the way the posts’ date stamps expand and the image enlargement option.
“WordPress is the most popular blog application among our web hosting customers,” says Hristo Pandjarov, a SiteGround marketing department member. “That is why our designers put a special effort in the creation of this new theme. We plan on continuing to launch new high-quality free WordPress themes on a regular basis.”
