(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Cloud enterprise resource planning software provider Acumatica (www.acumatica.com) and Les Services SIPD (www.servicessipd.com), a cloud ERP solutions distributor in French Canada, have announced the availability of a French language pack and system configurations for Acumatica’s ERP software for the Quebec market.
According to the Tuesday announcement, the solution is designed for mid-sized businesses in Quebec that want to rapidly implement a cloud ERP system tailored to their business environment. Using Acumatica’s configuration and customization tools, SIPD created language and accounting customizations for the Quebec business environment to meet local accounting configurations, as well as other market requirements such as French language and bilingual printing capabilities.
“French speaking businesses can now take advantage of Acumatica’s cloud ERP offering using a simple Internet browser or even an iPhone or iPad,” SIPD Services chief executive officer Pierre Dussault said in a statement. “Acumatica is priced by server, so businesses with many users distributed throughout the world, can involve their entire organization without the expense associated with buying user licenses or installing and maintaining software.”
Acumatica’s cloud-based ERP software gives customers the flexibility to deploy it on a company-owned server or as a Software-as-a-Service application. Acumatica’s SaaS solution runs on the Microsoft Windows Azure platform and reduces costs by eliminating customers’ need to manage complex hardware, software, backups, and upgrades. Further, businesses with worldwide operations can use a single installation of Acumatica for their entire business in multiple languages.
“We developed Acumatica as a horizontal application which can be rapidly customized by partners like SIPD who have knowledge of specific markets such as Quebec,” Acumatica CEO Ezequiel Steiner said in a statement. “By offering the same customization capabilities for both SaaS and on-premise, Acumatica provides more flexibility for customers with changing business requirements.”
The French language pack is now available for both Acumatica SaaS and on-premise licenses. SIPD experts are available to provide customer-specific configurations and provide support for Acumatica customers in Quebec and throughout Canada.
