SingleHop's recently released mobile application, LEAPmobile.
(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting company SingleHop (www.singlehop.com) announced it is offering free Priority Support when customers submit their tickets through the recently released LEAPmobile (www.singlehop.mobi).
Last month, the company released the mobile portal specifically designed for Google’s Android based phones, which is used on T-Mobile G1 along with all BlackBerry devices.
The mobile portal is also available for the iPhone.
SingleHop customers can use LEAPmobile to control their servers and perform a range of functions.
These functions include rebooting, viewing bandwidth graphs and hardware details, viewing current and previous invoices, paying invoices, or submitting billing questions, and submitting priority or normal tickets with technical support.
According to the press release, SingleHop’s Priority Support usually costs $9.95 per ticket and “guarantees a response within 15 minutes or less, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.”
“SingleHop is dedicated to providing the highest level of customer service, and providing free Priority Support, when customers are away from their computers, is just another way to make sure customers come first,” says Dan Salcedo, communications manager for SingleHop.
The company says it decided to begin offering free Priority Support through the mobile application to highlight its “ongoing focus of providing multiple, interactive and customer-centric ways of allowing [its] clients to control their accounts.”
The free Priority Support helps SingleHop distinguish its mobile portal from other web hosts, who are now beginning to offer comparable mobile applications.
Last week, dedicated hosting provider Limestone Networks recently began offering full server management through its own Android-based application.
