“The need to reduce network and security monitoring infrastructure expenses and the desire to increase operational efficiency is first and foremost for most channel organizations worldwide,” said Kyne. “With SilverBack software, channel partners can monitor numerous network devices, systems and applications across multiple client sites, as well as perform vulnerability scans and patch assessments for servers at a fraction of the cost of traditional enterprise management software tools.”

The company said expanding to the EMEA market would allow channel partners to access over three million small and medium-sized companies.

“In August, we introduced SilverBack Professional as a standalone tool for VARs and SIs to deliver highly profitable, fully functional IT and security monitoring to their small and mid-tier clients,” said Phillips. “Professional was developed as a direct result of feedback we received from on-going discussions with leading EMEA VARs and distributors. With the addition of this offering coupled by Doug Kyne’s extensive experience in the EMEA market, we’ve already gained significant traction for our software, adding partners in India, Ireland, Japan, The Netherlands and the United Kingdom.”
