Sierra Club Picks ServePath Hosting
October 31, 2006 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting provider ServePath (servepath.com) announced on Tuesday that grassroots environmental organization the Sierra Club (sierraclub.org) has selected ServePath to host its corporate Web site.
The Sierra Club says it chose ServePath to host its Web site based on the company’s reliability and scalability, and its customized solutions.
ServePath says the Sierra Club has been instrumental in preserving 150 million acres of wilderness and wildlife for over 100 years, including such places as Yosemite National Park, Grand Canyon National Park, the Florida Everglades and the Sequoia National Monument. The organization encompasses the largest network of environmental advocates in the US, addressing everything from community issues to lobbying on a national level.
“We’re proud that such a large, well-respected organization like the Sierra Club chose ServePath to provide hosting services for its corporate site,” says John Keagy, president of ServePath. “The Sierra Club understands that ServePath is an industry leader in service and support, while also offering the ability to scale with them based on their needs.”
