October 2, 2003 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Siebel Systems, Inc. (siebel.com) and IBM (ibm.com) today launched Siebel CRM OnDemand, an on-demand hosted customer relationship management (CRM) service the two companies jointly designed and will market, sell, deliver and service.

According to the companies, Siebel CRM OnDemand lets businesses to manage contacts, sales opportunities, products, prices, competitors, events, marketing campaigns, and customer service requests. Through deployment of the service, organizations can generate more sales leads, enhance lead qualification and management, improve sales forecasting, shorten sales cycles, and provide improved customer service.

The launch of Siebel CRM OnDemand extends a four-year alliance between Siebel Systems and IBM. In 1999, IBM and Siebel Systems agreed to jointly market Siebel CRM applications.
