September 24, 2008 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting provider Server Intellect (serverintellect.com) announced on Wednesday it has achieved Microsoft Gold Certified Partner status with triple competency including the Microsoft Hosting Solutions competency.

The achievement follows the company’s recent introduction of Microsoft SQL Server 2008 on its entire line of Windows dedicated servers.

By attaining Gold Certified Partner, Server Intellect has shown significant expertise with Microsoft products and services as verified by Microsoft.

Server Intellect previously attained Microsoft Gold Certified Partner status in December 2006 with dual competencies in Networking Infrastructure Solutions and Advanced Networking Infrastructure Solutions with the Hosting Solutions specialization.

The web host attained Microsoft Gold Certified Partner status in 2007, obtaining the Information Worker Solutions competency as well as competencies in Networking Infrastructure Solutions and Advanced Networking Infrastructure Solutions.

Server Intellect has now achieved the Hosting Solutions competency, which affirms its Triple Competency Status in the Microsoft Gold Certified Partner program.

Formerly under the Advanced Infrastructure Solutions competency, the Hosting Solutions specialization has solely become the Hosting Solutions competency, which better disginguishes Microsoft Partners as experts in the hosting industry.

Microsoft has increased the requirements for Hosting Solutions, including a minimum of more than two years of experience for technical partners in managing a Windows-based network and the making it mandatory for employees to pass additional exams.

“We are extremely pleased to not only have retained Gold Certified Partner status in the Microsoft Partner Program, but also to be one of the few technology leaders with Triple Competency Status,” says Eric Pratt, CEO of Server Intellect. “This clearly demonstrates our expertise with Microsoft technology and better positions us as a leader in the Windows hostingĀ  market.”

Microsoft Competencies are designed to help differentiate a partner’s capabilities with specific Microsoft technologies to customers looking for a particular type of solution. Each competency has its own set of requirements and benefits, designed to represent the specific skills and services that partners offer to the technology industry.
