(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — In an email sent to customers Monday morning, domain marketplace firm Sedo (www.sedo.com) revealed that it has formed a new joint IP management subsidiary between Sedo and the former founder and executive management team of eBrandSecure, called the Intellectual Property Management Company (http://ipmanagerinc.com).

According to the “who we are” section on the company’s website, “by leveraging its partner’s significant global economies of scale, IPM intends to become the leading provider of Corporate Domain Name Management services worldwide.”

The new company provides a range of domain management services including registrations, transfers, and renewals for ccTLDs, gTLDs, and IDNs, DNS hosting, SSL certificates, and domain acquisitions through Sedo.

Intellectual Property Management Company also offers both “basic” and “premium” levels of DNS management.

Since United Internet offers DNS, the company was able to easily integrate these services into the new subsidiary’s domain portfolio management tools.

The company will be headed by the former management team of eBrandSecure. CEO Albert W. Simpson, who founded eBrandSecure, is responsible for building Operations Department of IPManagement, developing the processes, procedures and technology in this area.

President Darren Simpson will help drive the companies sales and service initiatives and build the global sales and service team.

Chief information officer TJ Glazier will be responsible for the strategic planning and execution of all technical initiatives.

Executive vice president Angus Traver will ensure that IPManagement meets its company goals for superior customer satisfaction, retention and revenue growth.
