(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) – Managed network security solutions provider StillSecure (www.stillsecure.com) announced on Monday that it has partnered with communications service provider XO Communications (www.xo.com) to provide a suite of managed security services to business customers.

According to the press release, the partnership will also include support from StillSecure’s Security Operations Center professionals for XO Communications’ customers.

“The holy grail for customers is secure, fast, reliable, and cost-effective access to the services they need when they need them,” Mike Toplisek, chief marketing officer for XO business services at XO Communications said in a statement. “By adding a suite of cloud-based network security services, XO Communications is significantly expanding our security services portfolio.  This represents the continuing expansion of our cloud-based services delivery strategy.”

XO Communications provides advanced broadband communications services for businesses, government, carriers and service providers, including more than half of the Fortune 500. XO offers managed voice, data and IP services in more than 75 metropolitan markets in the US.

“Customers continue to struggle with securing their Internet infrastructure. XO Communications is smart to leverage their deep, trusted relationship with customers to help solve these issues with a suite of managed security services,” David Mandell, chief marketing officer at StillSecure stated. “Solving security problems in the cloud – prior to them hitting a customer’s premises- is the next level for forward thinking telcos. StillSecure is proud to partner with XO Communications to deliver this innovative offering to market.”

In September 2010, StillSecure introduced its Qualified Security Assessor-certified managed security solution through a partnership with ViaWest. The solution enables merchants and service providers comply with all managed Payment Card Industry provisions.
